LIVE ONLINE 20HR Trauma-Informed Foundational Facilitation Training May 2026 Cohort
May 22-24 & 29-31, 2026
(EST)

OVERVIEW
This foundational 20-hour training offers a spacious, trauma-informed introduction to the art of holding space. It weaves together nervous system literacy, interoceptive awareness, and empowered language with a deep commitment to cultural humility, collective care, and holistic integration. It welcomes those who hold space—for others and for themselves—whether guiding with presence, listening with their whole bodies, or offering compassion in every gesture. This is where healing meets learning. The core principles of trauma-informed facilitation will be discussed and explored, offering participants a clear framework to integrate into their practice. Facilitation is approached as a shared journey—one that honors the wisdom already present within each participant and fosters autonomy throughout the learning process. Participants are offered multiple ways to engage — visual, experiential, written, discussion-based, or quiet reflection. Each day opens and closes with a gentle, grounding practice. By the end of the training, you will have the skills and embodied understanding to hold space through a trauma-informed lens — cultivating practices that are empowering, inclusive, and rooted in care. Whether you are new to this work or deepening an existing practice, this weekend offers a grounded, relational exploration of trauma-informed facilitation.

OVERVIEW
This immersive 100‑hour training invites yoga facilitators, educators, wellness practitioners, individuals seeking to jumpstart their journey into mind‑body facilitation, and caregivers into a spacious, embodied exploration of trauma‑informed Yin Yoga. Rooted in nervous system literacy, interoceptive awareness, and invitational language, the program offers a layered curriculum designed to support both personal transformation and professional integrity. Education is approached as a shared journey—one that honors the wisdom already present within each participant and fosters autonomy over their own learning experience. Whether expanding a facilitation toolkit or cultivating a more ethical, attuned presence in the work of holding space, this training becomes a place where healing meets learning—where each shape, pause, and prompt offers an opportunity for choice, care, connection, and integration. Towards the completion of the course, participants will receive a YACEP certificate that counts toward Continuing Education Units with Yoga Alliance.
